Job summary

NOW Courier is seeking a driver for daily home delivery operations in Indianapolis. The role offers a base hourly pay of $26 with overtime after 50 hours and a weekly average of $1,300–$1,500 based on route demand and hours worked.

Qualifications include a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and at least 3 years of commercial driving experience. The job involves box truck freight, occasional pallet jack use, and a fast-paced warehouse/road environment.

Job description

HOME DAILY

• $1,300 - $1,500weekly average, based on an expected 50-hour workweek
• Base hourly pay of $26, PLUS overtime for anything over 50
• Monday thruFriday
• 10-12 hour shift or up to allowable hours. Daily start and end times will vary based on route completion and business needs.
• Box Truck freight, touch fright will be required with and without a pallet jack.

3 years of commercial truck driving experience is REQUIRED for all CDL positions, prior dock-to-dock delivery experience is preferred.

Driver Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must hold a valid Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• An excellent driving record.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Previous experience operating a 26' commercial vehicle is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
• Ability to lift and handle packages of various sizes and weights

• Must have and maintain a verifiable Commercial Class B Driver’s License, demonstrated safe driving record, and remain insurable through the company’s liability insurance carrier as applicable.

This job operates primarily in a warehouse/vehicle environment with frequent exposure to safety/health hazard potential. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

While the offices of NOW Courier are open from 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, this job may require work beyond these hours and on the weekends.
