Job summary

J Polep Distribution seeks a Class A Delivery Driver for Columbia, SC to deliver dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to convenience stores and other retail locations. Routes run Monday–Friday, with home nightly and weekends off.

Responsibilities include handling loads with a hand truck, servicing accounts, and ensuring safe operation of a tractor-trailer in compliance with DOT regulations. Benefits include Life Insurance, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL and current DOT medical card with clean driving record.
• Excellent driving, delivery and customer service skills.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use a hand-truck.
• Able to work independently and with customers and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to stores and other retail locations.
• Service accounts by collecting returns, refusals, and empty containers.
• Operate a Class A Tractor/Trailer safely and in compliance with DOT/state rules.
• Load products using a hand truck and floor load as required.
