Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions Inc in Sparks, NV is hiring a Class A local delivery driver. The role requires a valid CDL A, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain, and a clean driving record. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, load and unload freight, and complete DOT paperwork, with a 9am start, Monday–Friday, at $35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Age 21+.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI in past 3 years.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain (renewals reimbursable).
• Pre-employment skills assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations or terminals as instructed by dispatch.
• Ensure shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection.
• Load/unload a wide variety of freight with or without mechanical assistance.
• Complete all required government and company paperwork.

The CDL A position is a Route Delivery Driver position in which you will operate a Company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a specified time. This position unloads, sorts, palletizes, and reloads a wide variety of freight, manually or with the aid of a mechanical device.
