Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking safety-conscious Class A Linehaul Drivers for home-daily schedules from Salt Lake City, UT. You will transfer freight between locations, hook up and haul trailers, and complete all required paperwork to DOT standards.

Drivers must have a valid Class A CDL with endorsements, be at least 21, possess Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain, and pass a pre-employment assessment. Local routes offer home daily scheduling and weekends off.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI or DWI in past 3 years.
• No more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain (renewals reimbursable).
• Doubles endorsement.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Hook up and haul trailers between customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or supervisor.
• Ensure shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies shipment to delivery point.
• Operate tractor-trailer for extended distances and long hauls.
