Core-Mark International in Albuquerque is seeking a Yard Driver to move tractor trailers to and from loading docks, park trailers, and support loading operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will work Sunday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, earning $20.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package starting Day 1.

Formación

• 6+ months CMV driving experience.
• CDL-A license required.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Post-offer drug test and criminal background check required.
• Able to hand-lift and move product cases/freight up to 90 lbs with equipment.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and overtime.

Responsabilidades

Position Details;

Position Purpose:

The Yard Driver is responsible for moving tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ months CMV driving experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• CDL-A Required
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location
• Internal candidates may be promoted with less than 6 months experience with good performance record in accordance with driver training program requirements.
