Job summary

Daniels Health seeks a customer‑focused driver with a Class A Hazmat license for the Fresno, CA plant. You will collect sharps and medical waste from healthcare customers, deliver safely, and provide outstanding service with a high degree of autonomy.

The role involves 10‑day OTR trips, operating tractors up to 53 feet, and strict adherence to DOT regulations. Competitive hourly pay is offered with full-time, benefits‑rich employment.

Qualifications

• Class A Hazmat license with a CLEAN driving record and VALID medical card required.
• Willingness to run out-of-state routes.
• Six months of driving experience with tractor trailers or straight trucks.
• Experience operating straight trucks and tractor trailers safely (up to 53 ft).
• Experience with DOT logging hours and roadside inspections.

Responsibilities

• Drive over-the-road routes (up to 10 days).
• Collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer sites.
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Drop and hook with minimal live unload.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate delays.
• Load/unload and manage route per schedule.
• Sleep in a sleeper tractor; meals provided.
