Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Class A driver for our Des Moines/Shakopee route, transporting medical waste containers in 53ft tractor trailers. The role offers autonomy, stable hours, and competitive benefits in a full-time position starting with a 40-hour week.

You will follow a set weekly schedule, complete deliveries on time, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, adhere to DOT regulations, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Class A Haz Certified driver.
• DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Proven longevity in past employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at designated locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner (53ft tractor trailers).
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and communicating changes or challenges clearly.
• Loading/unloading and routing per schedule; ensuring efficiency.
• Complying with DOT regulations and conducting pre-trip/post-trip checks.
