Staffmark Group is hiring for a Class A Flex Driver in Northlake, TX on 2nd shift routes. Operate a Class A tractor-trailer, local delivery with daily home time and touch freight as needed.

The role requires valid Class A CDL, DOT Medical Certificate, and at least 1 year of CDL A driving in past 3 years. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and follow DOT regulations while serving local Fort Worth area.

Qualifications

• Experience with a 53 dry van trailer.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Clean driving record with limited violations.
• No DUI or serious violations in the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer with a 53 dry van trailer.
• Transport automotive parts on local/regional routes and return home daily.
• Perform touch-freight deliveries and no-touch assignments.
• Load/unload freight when required and conduct inspections.
• Maintain logs and transportation records per DOT rules.
• Communicate with dispatch/customers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Follow DOT regulations and company procedures.
• Support multiple local locations within the DFW area.

Job Duties

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle with a 53 dry van trailer.
• Transport automotive parts on local and regional routes while returning home daily.
• Perform touch-freight deliveries, line haul runs, and no-touch assignments as scheduled.
• Load and unload freight when required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs and transportation records.
• Follow all DOT regulations, safety policies, and company procedures.
• Support operations at multiple locations, including Fort Worth, Coppell, Grapevine, and Irving.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required as applicable.
• Minimum age of 22 years

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Experience operating a 53 dry van trailer.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Experience with touch freight, linehaul routes, and pallet jack operation preferred.
• Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious driving violations within the past 5 years.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, move, and handle freight weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to load and unload freight as required.
• Must be able to safely operate pallet jacks and perform delivery-related tasks.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and travel between multiple DFW-area locations.
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements for commercial driving.
