Job summary

R-K-Campf Transport is seeking a Class A Flatbed Truck Driver to securely load, transport, and deliver cargo from pickup to delivery points. You will operate heavy flatbed equipment, comply with DOT rules, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain proper documentation for every load.

Local flatbed work keeps you home nights and weekends; regional routes cover Chicago and nearby states with opportunities for longer runs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Must have a current, valid Class A CDL with a clear MVR, or no more than 1 accident or minor traffic infraction on current MVR.
• Must have at least 2 years of verifiable Class A FLATBED driving experience. Prefer 2 years Coil experience.
• Operate and maintain Elog device and meet all D.O.T. 70 hour service requirements.
• Must possess required skills to follow rules/regulations in loading, unloading, securement of cargo and proper tarping of any commodity loaded on a flatbed trailer.
• Must follow all D.O.T. rules and R-K-Campf policies concerning the use of chains, binders, tarps and straps.

Responsibilities

• Securement and safe transportation from pickup to delivery point.
• Operate trucks with capacity of at least 26,001 pounds GVW.
• Meet assigned pick-up and delivery schedules.
• Complete paperwork and signed Bill of Lading for each load.
• Perform Pre/Post Trip inspections daily.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures.
