Salary ranges from $95,000 to $110,000 per year, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits after 30 days. Must have a Class A CDL, at least 12 months of driving, HazMat and Tanker endorsements, and comfort with relevant tech.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety as top priority and adheres to safe work practices.
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weight limits and proper unit utilization.
• Loads/unloads hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
• Places placards per DOT requirements.
• Maintains logs, time sheets, expenses, dispatch and trip reports, plus vehicle inspections.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Baltimore, MD! This route runs from Baltimore, MD to various locations in MD/NC/TN/NJ and averages 2400-2500 miles per week.

About the role

• Drivers average $95-$110K per year
• Drivers Weekly Average $1800-$2000
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available

• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
