Job summary

Bunzl New England in West Boylston, MA is seeking a Class A Driver for a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 4:30am. The role pays $32.25 per hour and requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds while delivering goods to local and long‑distance customers.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, comply with DOT and safety regulations, and represent Bunzl with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods to customer locations, both local and long-distance, in a timely and safe manner.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are securely stowed.
• Report any vehicle issues to management immediately and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
