Overview

Quality Custom Distribution is now hiring CDL A Delivery Drivers to work at our Roseville Location in Minnesota.

We are hosting a walk-in hiring event at:

Quality Custom Distribution, 2501 Walnut ST Suite 400, Roseville, MN 55113. (Please bring an updated resume for the Hiring Manager. New CDL A Drivers are encouraged to attend.)

This event occurs every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Interview times are:

9AM - 11AM

2PM - 4PM

Key Items and Requirements
  • Must have an updated resume for the walk-in event
  • This position involves 100% touch freight delivery
  • Drivers typically make 15-20 stops per day
  • Ability to do local and Over the Road routes
  • Dress appropriately for an interview
  • Must pass MVR, Clearinghouse, and Background checks
What to Expect
  • Physical ability to handle all aspects of touch freight delivery
  • Coverage area includes Minnesota, parts of Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota
  • Potential weekly earnings between $1700 - $2200
  • Out-of-town routes may offer higher pay
  • Schedule: 4-day work week with 8-14 hour shifts, including one weekend day
  • Dispatch times vary (1PM, 9PM, 10PM)
  • Additional work available as needed
  • Component Pay + Weekly pay
  • New 48' automatic reefers
  • Deliver and down-stack products in-store using dolly or hand truck
Must Be Able To
  • Deliver in all weather conditions in Minnesota and surrounding states
  • Down stack products in-store
  • Lift, push, carry, and pull up to 75 pounds
  • Work holidays and weekends
  • Work independently on solo routes
  • Work in team routes as required

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Operate diesel-powered tractor-trailers to transport and deliver products, adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Perform vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and assist with product loading/unloading as needed.

Division Responsibilities (% of Time):

  • 30% Drive to store locations
  • 5% Maintain logs and comply with DOT regulations
  • 2% Ensure vehicle and cargo safety
  • 1% Report issues to supervisor
  • 1% Follow safety rules
  • 5% Practice good housekeeping
  • 5% Secure cargo and inspect vehicles
  • 1% Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid driver's license and current DOT Medical certification
  • At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb into/out of trucks
  • Availability for all work schedules, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to operate equipment safely in various weather conditions, including cold environments
  • Ability to lift/carry cases up to 50 pounds frequently
