Aaction Rents is seeking an experienced Class A Driver to support our Vacaville team. This role delivers and pickups rental equipment at customer sites, prioritizing safety, reliability, and top‑notch service.

The ideal candidate has a valid California Class A license, DOT driving experience, and a solid understanding of safety procedures. You will work with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth, on‑time deliveries and maintain company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid California Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Two years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.
• Strong attention to safety.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction or rental equipment and safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and pick up rental equipment at customer locations and job sites.
• Load and unload rental equipment.
• Follow all DOT and Federal Motor Carrier safety requirements.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, stores, customers, and other departments.
• Complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and courteously.
• Inspect and maintain the assigned company vehicle, including checking fluids and tire pressure and keeping the vehicle clean.
• Use all required safety equipment and follow company safety procedures.
• Provide helpful, professional customer service.
• Complete at least 20 hours of continued education and training each year.

With six locations across Sonoma, Solano, and Mendocino Counties, we provide equipment rentals for contractors, homeowners, industrial projects, special events, and everything in between. About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Class A Driver to join our Vacaville team. This position is responsible for safely delivering and picking up rental equipment at customer locations and job sites throughout the area.

We’re looking for someone who puts safety first, communicates well, and provides excellent service to both our customers and coworkers.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Frequently squat, reach, push, and pull
• Sit and drive for extended periods
• Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 80 pounds
• Move safely over uneven terrain
• Respond quickly to sounds and potentially dangerous situations
• Work outdoors in varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions
