Job summary

Bunzl is seeking a Driver in Utah to safely operate Class A tractors, perform inspections, and deliver goods to customer sites both locally and across distances. The role starts early (4am) with 4- to 10-hour days and a Tue-Fri work pattern, with overnights included.

You'll need a clean driving record, DOT compliance knowledge, and strong customer service skills. Compensation includes $25/hour, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate various commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform loading/unloading.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and DOT compliance.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and medical requirements.
• Overnight driving capability.

Responsibilities

Rate: $25 USD per hour

Description

4 – 10 hour days | $25/hr. | 4am start time

Tuesday – Friday Work Schedule | Off Saturday, Sunday and Monday!

2 overnights.

A Day in the Life:

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.

• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.

• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves:

• Valid Class A CDL.

• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.

• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.

• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

• Must be able to do overnight runs.

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.

• Experience with GPS and routing software.

Salary Range: $25 per hour based on experience, education and market data in the geographic location. Paid Weekly.

• Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance available to employees and eligible dependents starting the first day of the month after 30 days of employment (unless otherwise specified by a collective bargaining agreement).

• 401(k) retirement plan with a generous company match of $0.75 per $1.00 contributed, up to 6% of eligible pay , available after 30 days.

• Paid time off , including (Pro-rated based on hire date):

• 10 vacation days and 2 personal days annually (prorated in the first year based on hire date).

• 40 hours sick for exempt | 56 hours sick for non-exempt per year , in accordance with Washington State law.

• 6 paid national holidays and 2 floating holidays
