Job summary

You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and comply with all regulations. At least 2 years of Class A driving experience and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Class A driving experience.
• Ability to communicate with employees and business contacts professionally.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of Lock out/Tag out process.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to and from loading sites of customer locations.
• Comply with DOT rules and all company, local, state and Federal requirements.
• Adhere to safety policies and work requirements.
• Drive company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Identify hazards on site and participate in developing JSA for the job.
• Perform tasks assigned by Crew Lead or Foreman.
• Fill out permits correctly with appropriate information and signatures.
• Reference SSI SOPs and SOP manual; understand hazards of hazardous atmospheres.
• Follow SSI and customer policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
