Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Delivery Driver Class A to deliver perishable seafood, beef, poultry, and gourmet products in the New Orleans area. You will serve as the primary contact with customers, ensuring top-tier service while adhering to HACCP and safety standards.

The role requires a valid Class A license, 2–3 years of commercial driving experience, and a strong focus on timely, accurate deliveries. High school diploma and good English communication are expected.

Qualifications

• Education – High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience – 2-3 years of commercial driving experience; temperature-controlled product experience preferred.
• Customer Service – Friendly, outgoing, and courteous demeanor.
• Licensing – Must have a valid Class A License.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip responsibilities: check route numbers and account numbers.
• Drive and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route and secure vehicle.
• Load and unload products using dolly or equipment safely and accurately.
• Obtain customer signatures and verify delivery; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow DOT and HACCP regulations and maintain temperature controls throughout delivery.
