Job summary

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is hiring a Class A CDL Driver for our Sacramento distribution team. You will safely operate a tractor-trailer, unload products, and provide friendly customer service while handling returns and maintaining delivery documentation.

Expect overnight layovers on some routes, with a 5:00 AM start and overtime opportunities. Weekend home time is prioritized, and benefits begin after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 2+ years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no accidents in the last 3 years.
• DOT/FMCSA/OSHA compliance.
• Willingness for occasional overnight layovers.
• Ability to lift and move products.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer for deliveries and pickups.
• Unload products using jacks or by hand.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Handle returns and maintain delivery documentation.

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is looking for a dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our Sacramento distribution team. If you’re a safe, reliable driver who enjoys being home on weekends and working with a supportive crew, we’d love to meet you!

Schedule & Pay:

• Regional Routes
  • Monday: off
  • Tuesday: Local route
  • Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: overnight layover route in a hotel (Sacramento-Salt Lake City)
• Start Time: 5:00 AM
• Pay: Up to $26.50/hour + $30/night per diem, safety bonuses & pallet return incentives
• Hours: 40+ guaranteed, with overtime available

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer for deliveries and pickups
• Unload products using manual/electric jacks or by hand
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Handle returns and maintain delivery documentation
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Keep your truck and equipment in top shape
• Participate in our strong safety culture—your well-being matters!
