Job summary

Dohrn Transfer Company, LLC is seeking a Full Time Class A Combo Driver at our Rock Island, IL Terminal. The position involves long-distance tractor-trailer trips between terminals with mileage-based pay of $0.78 per mile and a strong benefits package.

Shift is Monday–Friday, starting at 2:30 am. Benefits include Health/Vision/Dental, 401k matching, life insurance, disability coverage, and a quarterly safety incentive bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 23, verifiable tractor-trailer experience, and road test.
• Must possess Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements on license.
• One active CDL and valid license in resident state; provide license history.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer long-distance between terminals.
• Load and unload freight; assist with equipment as needed.
• Perform lifting and carrying of freight up to 100 pounds.
• Secure freight using straps or other methods; inspect vehicle for defects.
• Maintain logs and comply with federal/state regulations for CMVs.
• Operate within hours-of-service rules and pass pre-employment drug screen.
