Job summary

Ritchie Trucking Service Holdings in San Diego, CA seeks an experienced Class A driver to safely operate company equipment including a piggyback field forklift, and to facilitate timely deliveries of construction materials to work sites.

You will maintain certifications, perform vehicle inspections, verify bills of lading, complete daily pay sheets, and coordinate with Dispatch to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Current Medical Certification Card.
• Ability to operate manual/automatic transmission.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery operations.
• Maintain all required certifications by DOT, OSHA and company safety standards.
• Maintain and protect property by completing vehicle inspection reports and communicating variances.
• Review and verify bills-of-lading for accuracy and completeness.
• Fill out daily pay/time sheet accurately for daily billing.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and advise of any equipment or delivery issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
