Job summary

The Freeman Company in Dallas, TX is seeking a Driver - Class A to safely transport equipment between warehouses, venues, and customer locations, ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with DOT requirements.

Travel more than 75% is expected; candidates must be 21+, hold a valid Class A CDL, and have at least one year of commercial driving experience. The role supports teamwork and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience required.
• Experience transporting event, production, or commercial equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport equipment to and from warehouse facilities, event venues, and customer locations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with company and DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles safely and professionally.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of all assigned shipments and equipment.
• Complete required logs, inspections, and transportation documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate shipment status and transportation activities with warehouse, operations, and event teams.
• Support warehouse operations and equipment handling as needed.
• Promote teamwork, safety, and operational excellence across all departments.
• Assist with training and mentoring team members when required.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Class A CDL license in good standing

Minimum one year of commercial driving experience

Must be at least 21 years of age

Experience transporting event, production, or commercial equipment preferred
