POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Operate and drive different types of trucks, including tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- At least 2 years of previous experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and 7-year background check, including employment verification, criminal history, and motor vehicle review.
- Ability to verify and maintain accurate daily records.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lbs. (recycling containers).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Extensive use of hands and fingers to operate objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak, and hear. Regular sitting on a powered industrial truck.
- Lift up to fifty pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for extended periods.
- Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
- Good sense of balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination.
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the season.
- Work environment is usually loud.
