Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A truck and trailer to transport goods to designated destinations on schedule
• Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic and safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Secure and protect cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs, mileage, and fuel usage
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure smooth deliveries
• Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or accidents immediately
• Assist with route planning to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
• Ensure all cargo is transported in compliance with applicable regulations
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance for both yourself and the vehicle

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL driver’s license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-haul or regional trucking
• Clean driving record with proven Class A CDL experience
• Ability to drive long hours and travel extended distances
