Job summary

Om Produce is seeking qualified Class A CDL drivers for regional dedicated routes based in Irving, TX. This role offers weekly home time, consistent miles, and a pay structure of $0.60–$0.62 per mile plus pay per stop and backhauls, under DOT/FMC regulations.

You will operate regional routes across listed states, perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain HOS logs with an ELD, and uphold safety standards while delivering freight.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL issued by the state of residence.
• At least 1 year verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to pass DOT physical and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A vehicles in accordance with FMCSA/DOT and company policies.

Position Overview

Om Produce is seeking qualified, safety-focused Class A CDL drivers for regional dedicated routes with consistent freight, predictable schedules, and weekly home time. This position operates under DOT/FMCSA regulations and requires drivers who meet all federal and company safety standards.

Routes & Schedule

• Regional dedicated routes
• Operating states may include: TX, CO, OK, AR, IA, KS, LA, MS, MO, MN, GA, NC, TN
• Maximum 4 nights out per week
• Weekly reset at home terminal

Compensation

• $0.60 – $0.65 per mile
• Pay per stop
• Pay for backhauls
• Consistent miles and freight
• Paid per company pay schedule

Essential Job Functions

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and company policies
• Transport and deliver freight on assigned regional routes
• Perform touch freight using an electric pallet jack
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate Hours of Service (HOS) logs using an ELD
• Maintain professional appearance and customer service standards
• Comply with all drug & alcohol testing requirements (49 CFR Part 382)

Minimum Qualifications (DOT-Required)

• Valid Class A CDL issued by state of residence
• Minimum 1 year verifiable Class A driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)per company and DOT standards
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the last 4 years
  • No DUI/DWI within the last 7 years
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 5 years (none within the last year)
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and maintain a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and return-to-duty testing as required by DOT
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as required by 49 CFR §391.11
• Ability to safely perform all physical requirements of the job

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull freight as required for touch freight deliveries
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack
• Ability to sit for extended periods and safely operate a commercial vehicle
• Ability to climb in and out of tractor and trailer
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
