Watkins Express Freight is seeking a Class A CDL Regional Driver to deliver freight across designated regions with energy and professionalism. You’ll be the backbone of our logistics operation, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

• No more than two moving violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles across regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
• Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times while minimizing fuel consumption and vehicle wear.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.

Overview:

• Predictable power lanes with a high volume of freight.
• Consistent freight allows for maximum drive time and less down time.
• Dispatched in advance, allowing for improved planning.
• 95% no-touch, mostly drop-and-hook freight.

Pay and bonus potential:

• Mileage pay.

• Sign-on bonus paid over 6 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.

Qualifications:
