Paragon Pro Rentals LLC is seeking a Semi Class A Driver in Buckeye, AZ to transport rental equipment and support on-site operations. The role requires adherence to DOT rules, clean background checks, and valid licensing, with an emphasis on safety and reliable delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, securing loads, optimizing routes, and providing basic instruction on equipment handling to customers.

Qualifications

• Must meet DOT regulations and pass required checks.
• Background check including criminal, drug, alcohol and work history.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and operates rental/high reach equipment.
• Drives GVWR 26,001+ lbs; may tow 10,001+ lbs.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Reviews VIRs and reports safety issues.
• Verifies order paperwork for accuracy.
• Loads and secures equipment on the truck.
• Works with dispatcher for efficient routing.
• Operates equipment and provides basic training on delivery.
• Records and reports customer or driver damage.
• Other duties as needed.

Job Location: BUCKEYE, AZ 85326

The job of a Semi Class "A" Driver consists of transporting rental equipment to our customers and other local locations. In performing this job, the Class A Driver will drive a semi-tractor trailer truck and will usually also load and unload the trailer sometimes with or without assistance from other workers. The driver will maintain good communications with their dispatcher/supervisor to ensure that the deliveries are made on time and that the vehicle is maintained in good working order.

Essential Functions

• Delivers and operates general rental/high reach equipment.
• Drives single vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more; the operator may tow a vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 pounds or more.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Reviews Vehicle Inspection Reports (VIR) and reports any safety issues to dispatch.
• Verifies order paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
• Loads, chains, and binds the equipment to the truck.
• Works with the dispatcher to deliver equipment via the most efficient route.
• Operates all types of equipment in the specified category and provides basic customer training upon delivery.
• Records and reports any customer or driver damage to the equipment.
• Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass all qualifications as set forth in Department of Transportation regulations.
• Employees must be able to pass a criminal, drug and alcohol, education and work history background check and have a good DMV report.
• Valid State issued Driver's License.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• 3 or less recorded moving violations or 1 accident and 1 moving violation within a 36-month period.
• 2 years or more experience in driving a commercial vehicle.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
