As a Class A Delivery Driver at US Foods in Streator, IL, you’ll play a vital role in delivering quality food products to our valued customers. Your Schedule :

• Monday - Friday
• Start Time : Between 2 : 30 AM and 6 : 00 AM
• Occasional Overnight Shifts

Compensation :

Start your journey with us at $31.23 per hour . After completing your probation period, your wage will increase to $33.73 per hour!

Main Responsibilities :

• Safely drive trucks to deliver products on time.
• Unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client experiences.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift / carry / push / pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively.
• Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions with frequent stops.

What You Bring to the Table :

• Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months in food / beverage delivery.
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred.
• Proficient in reading and communicating in English.

Compensation and Benefits :

Compensation is based on experience and skills, with a base rate between $26.78 and $33.73 . This role may also include overtime compensation.
