Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. in Wausau, WI is seeking an immediate Class A CDL Delivery Driver to safely deliver products and equipment to customers and to pick up returns.

The ideal candidate has Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrakes endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy cylinders; you will follow SOPs, comply with DOT/OSHA, and complete delivery paperwork.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker & Airbrakes endorsements.
• Clean commercial driving record (3+ years).
• Able to read and write English.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and road test.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50–75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and equipment to customers safely and courteously.
• Pickup returns at customer location.
• Read, understand and follow SOPs.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Move and handle cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Complete shipping papers and delivery tickets accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

American Welding & Gas, Inc. - Has an immediate opportunity for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver at our Wausau, WI. Location.

Duties:

• Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
• Pick up returns at customer place of business.
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Comply with all DOT + OSHA Regulations.
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class A CDL Required with Hazmat,Tanker & Airbrakes Endorsement
• Clean commercial driving record 3+ years
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and company administered road test.li>
