Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Class A Delivery Driver for local Bradenton routes. You will operate an automatic tractor-trailer on local deliveries, with a 53' liftgate, and return home daily. Start times are early, with a focus on safety, reliability, and exceptional service.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT Medical Card, and at least 1 year of recent CDL A experience. Expect 10–13 hour shifts, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic Class A tractor-trailer with a 53' liftgate on local routes.
• Transport retail freight including clothing, rugs, candles, and small furniture.
• Deliver freight safely while complying with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Use a dolly and electric pallet jack to assist with freight movement as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain delivery documentation.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries and represent Staffmark positively.
• Return home daily after completing routes.

Pay: Guaranteed $1,200+ Weekly Minimum (When Available Monday-Friday)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Start Time Between 2:00 AM - 5:00 AM Until Route Completion

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean MVR with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious driving violations within the past 5 years.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices required.
• Experience operating automatic tractor-trailers preferred.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work 10-13 hour shifts.
• Must be comfortable with heavy-touch freight deliveries.
• Frequent climbing in and out of tractor-trailer equipment.
• Ability to use a dolly and electric pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Capable of working early morning start times and meeting delivery schedules.
