Job Description

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Class A or Class B CDL Delivery Dump Truck Drivers, Roll-Off Drivers, or Trash Truck Drivers to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of dumpsters or trash containers to customers while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. This role involves daily interaction with homeowners and businesses, delivering materials, and providing excellent customer service and seamless coordination. Our delivery drivers go home every night, operate well-maintained equipment, and have minimal lifting requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Operate dump trucks, flatbeds, or similar vehicles and maintain personal safety in accordance with company, FMCSA, and OSHA policy guidelines.
• Stay informed of all applicable DOT rules and regulations and operate within those rules and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of weight limits, load balancing, and material handling.
• Maintain awareness of residential road conditions and access limitations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Pick up dumpsters/trash containers and transport them to designated locations on schedule.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service to homeowners and clients by clearly communicating material placement, delivery expectations, and resolving concerns professionally.
• Accurately read and interpret delivery tickets, ensuring correct location, material type, and quantity for each delivery, and plan effective route navigation.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL license.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to provide negative pre-employment drug screen per DOT requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Ability to pass basic training in safety, quality, and maintenance.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
