Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Norfolk, VA, with weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. You will operate well-maintained sleepers with APUs, deliver to multiple regions, and receive paid training, sign-on bonuses, and a strong 401(k) plan.

Competenze

• Age 21 years or older.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug/alcohol verification from the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate Class A CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Have verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in last 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws, regulations, and standards.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
