Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license and a clean driving record required.
• Valid DOT Medical Card required.
• Willing to work various shifts and start times including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drives trucks with capacities greater than 26,000 pounds, including tractor-trailer combinations, and has appropriate state/federal license requirements.
• Checks vehicle to ensure tires, mechanical, safety and emergency equipment are in good working order.
• Maintains driving logs of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Follows Flintco rules and regulations for operating a motor vehicle.
• Secures cargo for transport using ropes, straps, or chains and secures trailer load.
• Verifies routes and permits when applicable.
• Drives to weigh stations and documents weights as required.
• Performs basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as adding oil or fuel.
• Gathers delivery information and coordinates with warehouse staff for task assignments.
• Reports vehicle or trailer defects, accidents, or damage as needed.
