Job summary

CTDI is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Charlotte, NC. This first-shift role requires inspecting trucks, loading/unloading cargo, accurate documentation, and compliance with Federal and State DOT regulations.

You will provide excellent customer service and support our logistics operations across high-volume distribution points. Qualifications include 2+ years of delivery-driving experience, clean driving record, ability to obtain a DOT medical card, and strong reliability.

Qualifications

• Requires a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) and appropriate endorsements.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card and maintain a complete US DOT driver qualification file.
• 2+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing the company positively.
• Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
