Shift Schedule/hours

  • Work: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 7:00am - 5:30pm
  • Off: Sunday, Monday, Thursday

Compensation

  • Starting wage ranges from $24.00+, dependent upon experience

What We Need From You

  • Driving Single Cab/Double Axle truck and trailer to various warehouse locations
  • Normal travel distance 400-500 miles roundtrip
  • Single roundtrips per shift, however this could vary depending on requirements.
  • Acts as a back-up on a rotational basis for Yard Truck Driver shuttling product to/from production warehouses or Forklift Driver in warehouse to load/unload trailers.
  • Deliver or pick-up Scrap Products or pallets from various Operations facilities.
  • Ensure the equipment is safe and in proper working conditions.
  • Complete a pre and post trip inspection, for trucks and trailers driven daily.
  • Communicate repairs needed to equipment to the Manager/Director, so equipment is compliant with all company purchasing, safety and food safety requirements, and applicable laws.
  • Review, manage and file all equipment safety, repair, and log paperwork in accordance with company policies.
  • Comply with all AIB and BRC Standards and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to load/unload finished goods or raw material on trucks, warehouses and/or pallets.
  • Ability to operate multiple PIE (Power Industrial Equipment), forklift, and related equipment and tools.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
  • Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
  • Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
  • Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
  • Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers
  • Maintain production volume and efficiency
  • Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed

Our Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must possess Class A CDL
  • Excellent driving record, and at least 2 to 3 years experience.
  • Ability to work 5 days a week including potential scheduled weekend overtime.
  • Follows all safety and operating procedures for CNG and maintains the integrity of corporate equipment
  • Have a driving record in good standing free of any major violations and excessive moving violations or accidents
  • Ability to work outside in all weather
  • Demonstrate skill in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities and sound decision making.
  • Possess logic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Deal effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to top management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
  • Driving locally to Wisconsin locations – Possible overnight runs

Physical Work And Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
  • Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
