N C Machinery in Tukwila, Washington seeks a safety-focused CDL-A Truck Driver responsible for preparing equipment, loading it, and returning it from customer sites to our rental yards. You will train customers on safe equipment use while ensuring compliance with DOT guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL-A license and a valid CHD? (no).
• Educational requirement: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: minimum four years driving preferred or completion of a Truck Driver Training School with relevant experience.
• Safety-focused with a track record of responsible vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

About the Position:

We have an opportunity in ourTukwila, Washingtonlocation for a safety and customer focusedClass A CDL Truck Driverwho will be responsible for preparing equipment, loading it and returning it from customer sites to our rental yards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Our drivers will provide training and/or instructional direction on the safe use of the equipment.
• It is a physically demanding job, requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
• You must be willing to communicate and cooperate with customers, respond to their questions, and safely operate delivery vehicle in compliance with company and DOT Guidelines, Rules and Regulations.
• Previous experience in heavy equipment delivery is preferred and in the rental industry is desired.
• Experience using commercial vehicles is essential in order to identify the need for repairs and/or maintenance and ensuring the maintenance or repairs are accomplished with a minimum of disruption to the operation.

Qualifications:

• CDL-A License:A valid CDL-A license is a prerequisite for this role.
• Education:A High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• Experience: A minimum of four years of driving experience is preferred, or completion of a Truck Driver Training School program with experience in operating similar vehicles.
• Safety Focus:As a CDL Truck Driver, you must prioritize safety, demonstrating a history of responsible and secure vehicle operation.
• Self-Motivation:Display self-motivation and a track record of punctual and safe hauling of construction equipment.
