Amaxx, Inc. in Pawling, NY is looking to hire a full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver to handle the hauling and unloading of soil, stone, and sand. Do you have a strong work ethic? This truck driving position earns a competitive wage of $25 - $30/hr plus quarterly performance-based bonuses. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLASS A CDL - CDL B TRUCK DRIVER

As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you have the important responsibility of hauling and delivering loads of sand, stone, soil, and gravel. Before hitting the road, you ensure that you have the necessary documentation and that your load is properly secured. You carefully obey all traffic laws while hauling loads in a tri-axle or 6-wheeler truck. Our residential and commercial customers can count on you to deliver and unload their materials safely and efficiently.

Responsible and dependable, you maintain an accurate truck driving log to document compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. You understand the importance of keeping vehicles in tip-top shape, and you take pride in keeping your truck clean and in good repair. When there's an issue, you quickly notify a manager or shop mechanic. You like how each delivery brings a change of scenery, and you enjoy helping our customers out!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Class A CDL driver's license with a good driving record
  • Experience driving with a manual transmission
  • Ability to pull a trailer
  • Willingness to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Reliable transportation

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a year-round job with full-time positions. Shifts are from 7 am to 4 pm.
