Job summary

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions is seeking a Delivery Driver with a Class A CDL to join our team in Miami Lakes, FL. The role includes driving, assisting in loading/unloading, and providing excellent customer service to ensure timely deliveries.

Pay ranges from $23 to $25 per hour, with quarterly safety bonus opportunities and benefits starting DAY ONE. Candidates must have a valid Class A or B license, be able to lift up to 75 lbs, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current and active Class B or Class A Driver’s license with good driving record.
• Moffett experience highly preferred.
• Proficient in reading and writing English.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to destination and unload as needed.
• Distribute receipts for load picked up and collect payments when applicable.
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintain telephone/radio contact with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Assist customers with offloading and securing cargo.
• Inspect truck equipment (tires, lights, brakes, oil, water).
• Secure cargo with blocks and ropes during transit.

Who You Are

We are looking for energetic Class A who are a self-starters and team players to be part of our team.

What You Will Be Doing

Successful candidates for the Delivery Driver role are motivated and eager to provide a high level of customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Current and active Class B or Class A Driver’s license with good driving record
• Moffett experience highly preferred.
• Drives truck to destination.
• Distributes receipts for load picked up.
• Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.
• Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintains telephone and / or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
• Assists Customers with the offloading process.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.

Skills You Bring

• Must be CDL Licensed, must pass Driver's Testing, and must pass DOT Physical / Drug Testing.
• Proficient in reading and writing English.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding work environment which includes bending; stretching; pushing, pulling, and lifting a MINIMUM of 75 LBS; and extensive fast-paced walking in all weather conditions throughout the year.
• Knowledge of basic math, ability to read and write the English language, and map reading skills.
