Trulite is hiring a Class A CDL COMPANY DRIVER in Florida to join a team focused on reliable delivery and customer service. You must have a valid Class A or B license with a clean driving record and be willing to assist in loading and unloading as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and active Class B or Class A driver's license with good driving record.
• Moffett experience highly preferred.

• Strong customer service for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to destination and assist in loading/unloading as needed.
• Distribute receipts for loads and occasionally collect payment.
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Assist customers with offloading.
• Inspect truck equipment and cargo, secure cargo for transit.

Who You Are:

We are looking for energetic Class A who are a self-starters and team players to be part of our team.

What You Will Be Doing

Successful candidates for the Delivery Driver role are motivated and eager to provide a high level of customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Current and active Class B or Class A Driver’s license with good driving record
• Moffett experience highly preferred.
• Drives truck to destination.
• Distributes receipts for load picked up.
• Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.
• Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintains telephone and / or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
• Assists Customers with the offloading process.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.

Skills You Bring:

• Must be CDL Licensed, must pass Driver's Testing, and must pass DOT Physical / Drug Testing.
• Proficient in reading and writing English.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding work environment which includes bending; stretching; pushing, pulling, and lifting a MINIMUM of 75 LBS; and extensive fast-paced walking in all weather conditions throughout the year.
• Knowledge of basic math, ability to read and write the English language, and map reading skills.
