We're Hiring: Class A CDL Truck Driver

Are you a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver looking for a new opportunity? Egger Steel Company, a trusted name in structural steel fabrication for over 75 years, is looking for a dedicated and experienced driver to join our team. You will be home most nights and have most weekends off!

Responsibilities:

• Secure and transport flatbed and oversized loads (wide, long, and heavy freight)
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate driving logs, routes, and delivery documentation
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Manage necessary permits and coordinate with escort drivers when required
• Transport structural steel products, including bridge girders, to regional destinations

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
• Experience operating flatbed trucks and securing loads properly
• Skilled in driving manual transmission vehicles
• Experienced in transporting oversize loads, including wide, long, and heavy freight
• Proficient in operating steerable trailers for complex and oversized hauls (Will teach if you don't have experience)

Benefits:

• Schedule: Be home most nights with local/regional routes

• Hourly Pay: $30 (Loading and Unloading Time Included)

• Mileage Pay: $0.65 CPM (for trips over 100 miles)
