POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently supporting the well plugging and abandonment team in their operations by transporting equipment and materials to various well sites. While this position supports operations throughout West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania and will require travel during the day, overnight stays are infrequent (2-3 times per month). The position is paid weekly with wages starting at $28/hour. A signing bonus is available to eligible new employees. Special focus will be placed on:

  1. Safely operating and maintaining company-owned trucks to transport equipment, tools, and materials.
  2. Transporting skid mounted rig equipment, tubulars, and construction equipment.
  3. Water truck operations:
    1. Transport and deliver water to well sites.
    2. Maintain accurate records of water deliveries and usage.
  4. Winch truck operations:
    1. Operate the winch truck to assist in the lifting and positioning of heavy equipment.
    2. Safely load and unload equipment using winch operations.
  5. Rig operations:
    1. Assisting with moving rigs and associated equipment to and from well sites.
    2. Ensure proper loading and securing of equipment and materials onto trucks.
    3. Unload and assist in setting up equipment at the well site as required.
  6. Perform general maintenance on trucks and equipment, including inspecting, cleaning, fueling, and minor repairs. Report maintenance needs promptly.
  7. Maintain open communication to coordinate transportation needs and schedules.
  8. Collaborate with rig employees and other personnel to ensure efficient and smooth project operations.
  9. Complete necessary paperwork such as trip logs, inspections reports, and delivery receipts accurately and promptly.
  10. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials and equipment.
  11. Prioritize safety at all times. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment. Report any safety issues or incidents immediately.
  12. Follow environmental guidelines and best practices to minimize the impact of operations on the environment.
  13. Other equipment operations support per management discretion.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent.

  1. Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
  2. Hazmat preferred.
  3. Will consider recent CDL graduates, but proven experience as a truck driver with heavy hauling operations in the oil and gas industry preferred.
  4. Experience with winch trucks preferred.
  5. Knowledge of local and state commercial guidelines.
  6. Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
  7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  8. Willingness to work in various weather and well site conditions.
  9. Willingness to travel to remote well sites.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  1. The individual must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required.
  2. Visually seeing driving operations well (either naturally or with corrective lenses).
  3. Walking, stepping, climbing, or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another.
  4. Standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing and sitting.
  5. Repetitive movements by feet, shoulders, arms wrists, hands and back in performance of work.
  6. Lifting 50lb objects or more occasionally.
  7. Adapting to outdoor conditions and prolonged exposure to varying weather conditions.
  8. Remaining calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident.
