Sarnago And Sons in Clearwater, FL is seeking an Experienced Class A Transport Driver to operate dump and roll-off trucks and haul heavy equipment to and from job sites. The role requires adherence to DOT regulations, safe load securement, and professional customer service.

You will perform inspections, maintain logs, coordinate with dispatch, and navigate local job sites. The position is full-time with overtime opportunities and includes health insurance, PTO, holidays, and a 401K match.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Driver's License (CDL Class A preferred; Class B acceptable depending on role).
• Clean driving record.
• Experience operating dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and equipment trailers.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of load securement and equipment transport safety practices.
• Familiarity with Clearwater/Tampa Bay area roads and job sites.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks and roll-off trucks for material transport.
• Transport heavy machinery and equipment to and from job sites.
• Load, secure, and unload equipment using proper tie-down and safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, load tickets, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and project managers.
• Navigate job sites, construction zones, and disposal facilities safely.
• Provide professional, courteous service representing the company.
• Assist with minor labor tasks or equipment handling as needed.
