Job description

Overview

Dedicated Regional Dry Van (hand unload) position with home weekly for a 34‑hour reset. Routes in IL, OH, MI, IN. 100% live unload at stores. On-site safety and support at the distribution center. Ride-along training provided by experienced Driver Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Driver hand unload, box by box, using rollers/physical labor
• Deliveries with 3–5 stops per unload; backhauls paid at $30 per load
• Operate within the region (IN/IL/OH/MI); meet delivery windows and safety standards
• Maintain customer relations and customer service skills
• Work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as part of the workweek

Qualifications

• 3 months of Class A 53 tractor trailer/flatbed experience within the past 3 years (school time excluded)
• No SAP (SAP) drivers
• Hair follicle drug screening required
• Clean CDL with no incidents or accidents in the past year
• Must be able to back into tight areas/small lots and work in extreme temperatures

Compensation & Benefits

• Average earnings: $1,850 per week, up to $2,000 per week
• Pay structure: $0.80–$0.86 per mile based on verified experience
• Unloading pay: $325 per unload
• Backhaul pay: $30 per backhaul
• Annual earnings target: about $96,200 per year

• Supplemental pay: detention, layover, signing bonus

Travel and Work Schedule

• Routes are regional and dedicated within the specified states
• Home weekly with a 34‑hour reset
• Start times are early morning; deliveries Monday through Friday (Sunday pickups)
• Typically 3–5 stops per unload; possible 34‑hour break on the road each week
• Trucks: International, Freightliner, Kenworth

Training & Onboarding

Short onboarding with ride-along training (minimum 3 loads) at a rate of $150 per day.
