Job summary

Select Genetics in Willmar, MN is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to transport poultry eggs and day-old poults. This full-time role operates within a bio-secure, safety-conscious schedule and reports to the transportation manager.

Responsibilities include complying with DOT regulations, maintaining logs, loading and unloading up to 70 lbs, ensuring cargo security, and delivering on time along predefined routes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL for operation of heavy vehicles.
• Experience transporting poultry products is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies and applicable federal/state regulations.
• Operate and drive a Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 lbs vehicle safely.
• Pick-up, unload and transport poultry eggs or day-old poults.
• Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs; ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure cargo is secured and handle basic truck sanitation as needed.
• Stay on route, obtain signatures, and report any issues to management.
