Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! Our 200 company drivers keep families supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong together, capable of getting things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomic seats, perfect steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, bridges, onsite repair, and wash bay.

Pay

- Starting pay: .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Detention, layover, and additional pays vary by load and hours. Average weekly pay: $2600-$3200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

- Drivers get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our area. Some may get longer or additional days off, especially in outlying areas. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring and honored. Drivers should notify dispatch of home time needs. We try to accommodate special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in MO, with over 55% being drop and hook. Freight includes dry van (all palletized) and reefer (climate-controlled). Most loads are in the US middle corridor. No NY City, no force dispatch west of Denver, no ports or borders. Mostly contracted freight, using major highways. No dedicated routes, with Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Rider Policy

- 1 passenger 12 years or older, available from day 1.

Canine Policy

- $500 fee per pet. Up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog. Deduction of $100/week until paid. Policy non-refundable once pet is in truck. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
