Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors with all the latest features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong together, capable of getting things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks with ergonomic seats and optimal steering
• 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large refrigerators
• Auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• On-site repair facility, wash bay, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges

Pay

Start pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation for detention, layover, and other factors. Average weekly pay between $2,600 and $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out. Some areas may offer longer periods and additional drive-through days. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in MO, with over half drop-and-hook. Mostly dry van and reefer trailers, with no freight in NY City or ports. Most routes are in the US middle corridor, using major highways. No dedicated routes; drivers run a mix of loads. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider & Canine Policies

• 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1
• $500 pet fee; 2 small or 1 large dog, with weekly deduction until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
