Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We have 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet consists of safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities. We offer high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks with ergonomic seats, perfect steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site maintenance and wash bay available.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 CPM, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layover, and other factors. Average weekly pay is $2600-$3200, paid weekly via direct deposit. No hold on paychecks.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our area. Some drivers may stay out longer and get up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring and will be honored. We try to accommodate personal needs and special events.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri; over 55% is drop and hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, mostly in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, and borders. Freight is mostly contracted, with no dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J locations.

Rider & Canine Policies

Riders: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.
Canine: $500 fee per pet, with a deduction of $100/week until paid. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
