Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. The safest trucks on the road with ergonomic seats, perfect steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, auxiliary power units, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site repair facility and wash bay.

Pay

Start pay of .55cpm - .58cpm, paid loaded or empty on practical miles. Additional pay for detention, layover, and other factors. Average weekly pay between $2,600 and $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our area. Some may stay out longer with additional days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and will be honored. Flexibility for special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

98% freight from MO, mostly drop and hook. No NY City, no forced dispatch west of Denver, no ports or borders. Mostly contracted freight, running dry van and reefer loads, primarily on major highways. No dedicated routes. Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Rider Policy

One passenger 12 years or older, available from day 1.

Canine Policy

$500 fee per pet, with up to 2 small or 1 large dog. Deduction of $100/week until paid. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
