Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! Our 200 company drivers keep families supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks
• Ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators
• Auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• On-site maintenance, wash bay, right way scales, Elite Pass for tolls and bridges

Pay

Start pay: .55 cpm - .58 cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pay for detention, layovers, and extra stops. Average weekly pay: $2,600 - $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our area. Outlying areas may have longer trips with up to 4 days off. Home time is confirmed prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over 55% is drop and hook; others are 1 pick-1 drop. Dry van and reefer loads, mostly in the US middle corridor. No NY City, no ports, no borders. No dedicated routes; mostly contracted freight.

Rider & Canine Policies

• Rider policy: 1 passenger 12 years or older, available from day 1
• Canine policy: $500 fee per pet, up to 2 small or 1 large dog, with weekly deductions until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
