About Climate Express

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760 trucks, automatic transmission
• Ergonomically designed seats and optimal steering
• 70" L / 96" W sleepers
• Pull-out tabletop, larger built-in refrigerators

• Right way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 cents per mile, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pay for detention, layover, and other factors varies by load and hours. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. You get paid for the work completed in the current week, with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer in outlying areas and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring and will be respected. Drivers can notify dispatch of their home time needs. While drivers do not accrue days off weekly, we accommodate special events and appointments when possible.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop-and-hook. The remaining loads are 1 pick-1 drop, dry van or reefer, mostly in the US middle corridor. No New York City, no force dispatch west of Denver, and no ports or borders. We prioritize major highways and contracted freight, with no dedicated routes. Fueling is available at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Additional Policies

• Rider policy: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1
• Canine policy: $500 fee per pet, two small or one large dog, deduction of $100 weekly until paid, non-refundable once placed
