Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. We use safe Volvo tractors with all the latest features. Enjoy high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks.
• Features include ergonomic seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios.
• On-site repair facility, wash bay, and right-way scales with Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges.

Pay

Start pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in MO. Over 55% is drop-and-hook. Mostly dry van and reefer loads, with no NY City, ports, or borders. Most freight is on major highways in the US middle corridor.

Additional Policies

• Rider policy allows 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.
• Canine policy permits 2 small or 1 large dog, with a $500 fee and weekly deduction until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
