Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Volvos are the safest trucks on the road!
• Ergonomically designed seats and perfectly positioned steering
• 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop
• Larger than average built-in refrigerators
• Auxiliary power units with built-in manual power inverter (3500W)
• Dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• Right way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges
• On-site repair facility, wash bay for truck and trailer washes

Pay

Start pay: $0.55 - $0.58 CPM, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pay for detention, layovers, and other factors. Average weekly pay: $2,600 - $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our running area. Some areas may allow longer periods out with additional days off. Home time is confirmed in writing before hiring and will be respected. Drivers should notify dispatch of home time needs. Accommodations for special events and appointments are considered.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in MO. Over 55% is drop and hook. Mostly dry van and reefer loads, primarily in the US middle corridor. No NY City, no force dispatch west of Denver, CO. No ports or borders. Mostly contracted freight, utilizing major highways. No dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider Policy

1 passenger, 12 years or older. Available immediately.

Canine Policy

$500 fee per pet. Up to 2 small or 1 large dog. Deduction of $100/week until paid. Non-refundable once placed in truck. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.

Requirements
